Eligibility Requirements
Requirements vary by lender, but most in our network ask for the same handful of basics. Meeting them doesn’t guarantee an offer — it just gets you matched.
The basics most lenders require
- Be at least 18 years old (19 in some states)
- Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- Have a steady, verifiable source of income
- Have an active checking account in your name
- Provide a valid email address and phone number
- Have a valid Social Security number
What about credit?
There’s no universal minimum credit score. Our network includes lenders who work with fair and poor credit and weigh factors beyond your score, such as income and employment. A higher score generally means better rates and larger amounts.
What we check vs. what the lender checks
Getting matched and viewing offers through Good Fast Loans uses a soft inquiry that won’t affect your credit score. If you move forward with a lender, that lender may run a hard inquiry as part of its own approval process.
No guarantees — and that’s a good thing
Be wary of any service promising “guaranteed approval.” No legitimate lender can guarantee a loan. What we can do is match your single request with multiple lenders, giving you the best possible chance of finding an offer that fits.
